I chose this topic because I think that teachers, no matter what the grade level, should be the highest paid profession. I don’t understand why they aren’t paid more than they are. When we think about all of the high paid professions, we think of Doctors, Lawyers, and even Astronomers. My question then is how do all of these people learn these professions, and who are they taught by? They are taught by teachers. In fact we spend half of our lives learning from these great people. For these reasons I believe being a teacher should be as rewarding as it feels. The government is constantly cutting money out of the school budgets, and putting it towards unnecessary funding.
